Hideyuki Ashihara and Joko Ninomiya Sensei are the only Ones from Kyokushin Karate Kai Kan that developed and improved on the SABAKI METHOD which was employed by their Grandmaster Mas Oyama.
Ashihara and Enshin Karate were developed in mind for full contact , defensive form against the more violent forms of Karate-Do. Whilst Full-Contact, Ashihara and Enshin is very technical and defensive when compared to other forms of Karate-Do.
i'm training ashihara karate for nearly 10years now, nice to see that it is pretty popular in other party of the world, here in germany it's unfortunately in vain :(
If you're putting your all into your karate, and representing it well through in how you treat your fellow man, then none of it is vain. I study a lesser known style too(Shorin Ken under Tesshin Hamada, DNBK), probably lesser known than your style. But it's the practitioner's efforts that keep karate-do alive.
Awesome!
