  • should i get this or a DT 125 RE??

  • just bought one not to long ago best bike ive ever had

  • it might hit highway speeds but its not something you want to do a lot.

  • A few years ago i would have laughed at the thought of one these bikes but now that ive had one for a year i wouldnt trade it for anything. What more could you ask for? It will hit highway speeds, dominate the trails and get 70-90+mpg.

  • I had one a few years ago. Didn't think I would miss it, but then I saw this video and got all nostalgic. Oh well, I love my KLR.

  • Nicely done! She's a great bike!

  • Im 17 years old and thinking about getting this bike for a daily commuter to work and school and then hittin up the trails on weekends...would you recommend this bike?

  • @garanater I love this bike. I have purchased a couple over the years. It's easy to drive and really low to the ground. It's a great commuter as well.

  • @garanater I have had nothing but problems with mine since I bought it brand new in 2007. After multiple repairs, rebuilds...I am finally parting it out. Go with the Suzuki DR200 if this is your price range. You'll be much happier in the long run if you want something that can be used as a commuter.

  • @kj7687 I've been using and abusing my DR200 for three years and have never had a problem with it that wasn't easy and cheap to fix. Just watch the oil level, change the oil and filter every thousand miles, keep up on valve adjustments and regular maintenance and you'll be happy with it.

  • @kj7687 That said, when the TW wasn't having problems, it was a lot of fun to ride and very capable off road (as long as you go really slow). Highway with stock gearing is terrible, 60 mph is reasonably doable if you change the gearing (also doable with the stock gearing on the Suzuki). Good luck with your decision.

  • this makes we want to go out and ride! you've been to some cool places

  • tw200 was the first bike to make it to the north pole as the only source of transportation

  • How does she do in the sand. I have a Yamaha XT225 and I have to let almost all the air out of both front and rear tires to be able to control it here in our Michigan sandy trail system.

  • @jfisch01 She's a little heavy but fat in the tires so it's so so in the sand.

  • Really nice video, Thanks!

  • Awesome Video!! I'm in the market for an enduro, this looks awesome off road, how does this bike preform on the highway? Top Speed, Gas Milage, Price, etc.

  • @YoungAmericanOutback She gets up to about 70 on the flat. I little faster with a slight downhill. About 4,000 new. I'd get a used one. They are reliable and have not changed in design/technology in years.

  • TW, good! Pearl Jam, good!

  • Cool Vid!, I love my TW.

  • cool video. I recognize some of those river crossings. That crossing to the forest lake road get DEEP in the early spring. We nearly swamped out an ATV crossing that haha

  • That's some great scenery you guys are showing. Love the TW200, if only I was a bit shorter. lol
