this video is really making me super excited for when i go into labor. I have the book ' hypnobabies' and I have been working on the techniques they say to use and when I was having strong contractions the other day it really helped me focus. My sister looked at me like I was nuts because I wasn't freaking out at all. I am so ready for this.
@AsemoVundrafeh I love that you are so excited about birthing your baby!
You probably have the HypnoBirthing book, which is different than Hypnobabies, which is either a live course or a complete home study course with 6 CDs and 3 workbooks. Just wanted to clarify that.
This is why i want a mid-wife and a home water-birth. They are so calm and caring, and they seem like they make the atmosphere so comfortable. In hospitals it just seems like it would be terrifying.
loved this video! I'm giving birth in 2 months in a hospital water birth with my midwife and watching this only strengthened my decision for a completely natural birth :)
IMPORTANT:For your childrens protection. Vaccinations contain, many chemicals and also animal tissue, which can cause CANCER,ASTHMA,TUMOURS,AUTISM,OBESITY and much more..Same with vitamin k,which contains brake fluid and is a big cause of asthma, vitamin K is like BLEACH.Doctors get 50pound for every vaccine they give, and use FEAR as a tactic for people to take them.Do your research, ingredients. If you ignore this, you will hav blood on your hands.RESEARCH GOOGLE: "VACCINATION INGREDIENTS":
here in the phils.if your giving birth on a public hospital and u are too noisy, they yell at u..b4 i'm questioning the way they treat a mother who's giving birth..they should understand that it was really hard to give birth bec.we mothers is risking our lives..
What's with the "controlled pushes, controlled pushes..." for Sierra? How can this be "mother-directed" pushing whent they're telling her how to push? I've had ten births, and I can say it's much less painful, and much more fulfilling if you just let me let my body do what feels right.
@homemanager12 I agree that following your body is ideal. It could be that the midwife wanted her to slow down a bit as the baby was crowning to help keep her perineum intact? I have seen moms so anxious to have their babies they don't follow their body as much as try to get the baby out as quickly as possible.
@NaritaLovesAlan You don't have to be in water to give birth at home. Many moms choose to because it feels better for them to be in the water. Water can be very soothing to a birthing Mom. :)
i gave birth to my daughter in the hospital i wanted to give birth at home but i had a complicated pregnancy so i had no other choice. i didnt take any medication and when i got the pushing feeling the doctors and everybody yelled at me to stop but i couldnt because the feeling was so strong i couldnt do any thing then push. beside that it was my birth. and all went out good. i love your videos and if i get another baby i want a homebirth if its possible. amazing video. greetings from germany
@dattiful I always think it is so interesting when they tell moms to stop pushing, they don't understand it is almost impossible not to! I hope you get to have a homebirth next time. :)
@Iluvbadgers It depends. I used Hypnobabies with my last birth and I was comfortable even without medication. My contractions felt like pressure instead of pain. :)
When my cousin gave birth, the doctor was pulling the baby and also pressed down her stomach once or twice. Is that necessary,if it were a normal baby with no complications?
@rosewink911 It depends on the situation. If the baby's shoulders were stuck, then that is something they do to help the baby's shoulders get unstuck. In a normal situation it is not needed.
i just really like how calm the midwife/doula makes the atmosphere. i see her smiling, being calm. in a hospital i can imagine being terrified, looking up at doctors whose faces are hidden behind their masks. i dont want children right now, but if i ever did, i would want to have them this way. thank you so much.
Also, is it good for the mother's belly to be pressed down on while giving birth? I tend to see that in some birth videos (mainly hospital and/or foreign births), as if it helps the baby come out faster...but to me it looks like its dangerous...
I am so glad they let the moms do it on their own will . It pisses off when doctors tell them not to scream or push . It's like " she's having a baby she will do what she wants ! "
Why are they touching her as she is giving birth?! There is no need for this, the baby is going to come out, you dont need to touch it just to make sure..
@charesebaby Typically pulling on the baby is not necessary. Each care provider has their own routines, most births that I see in the hospital the care provider DOES pull. So it is something each mom should talk to their care provider about.

@EnjoyBirth yeah I wish there were actual classes in my area but Chicago is too far away. I sadly can't even find a decent midwife or doula. :(

@charesebaby I think it is medically indicated if a baby has shoulder dystocia, however for a normal birth it is NOT needed.

shybettigurl 1 year ago
I don't get why mothers "talk" the baby to moving down...their bodies are responsible for the baby coming out, not the babies...
charesebaby 1 year ago
@charesebaby Actually the baby also helps itself be born. He pushes with his feet and helps himself to come out! :)

@EnjoyBirth Yeeeaaah....I don't really buy that. Sorry.

Just wondering, is it good for a doctor/midwife to pull the baby out even though there are no signs of complications in the birthing process?
