You bring up Downie's name & the list fight's he has had.....anyone but Enforcers from other teams. He be pretty tough in the 80's & 90's vs guys like Yari Kurri or Lucky Luc, be a good one for him vs Mike Bossy.
I would hate to disappoint people, well those that are not aware, but Downie is not an "Enforcer". How many "Enforcers" are 5'10" 189 lbs? The Flyers "Enforcer" is 6'1" 210lbs which is still a little undersized for a NHL Enforcer. And that right there shows why Downie does not fight enforcers. but thanks for watching and commenting.
