I'm surprised at how well F-secure blocks all (?) those viruses. Usually F-S just sucks balls for being heavy, loading shit in the computer, slowing it down etc. but this version is surprisingly good. But if F-S desires to be at least a little good, it should take examples from Norton or Kaspersky. Or Avira. Avira and Kaspersky are my 2 favourite antiviruses.

F-secure is the best but you really need at least 2gb of ram for it to not crashed your computer. I used to use F-secure and it slows the computer down since it really scans the comuter til you disable the software.

F-Secure always worked great for me. I'd use Internet Security 2010 without hesitation, except that Top Ten Reviews gave it such an abysmally low rating. I suppose we all have to make our choice and live with it.

Beautiful interface. F-Secure is Finnish. So is Pam Anderson. Looks must mean a lot to those ppl. Anyhoo, this app is Tremendous. The Deep-Guard is what completes the program.

For me, the equivalent to this program is Avast 4.8 + Drive Sentry. Practically Nothing can get past such a Dynamic Duo. Me safe.

PegHorse, here in youtube, tested F-Secure one week ago and had it let pass 2 trojans, one rogue and one rootkit.

In the end the viruses destroyed F-Secure and took over the PC.

Here in your video, Matt, you tell us this is a good product.

He did not do anything different than he usual does, though he hasn't been able to get anything nasty like a Rootkit because the links always stop working after short while.

I would understand if it let the Rouge through but letting a Trojan and a Rootkit is a big problem, though F-Secure has made a big improvement as compared to their old product.

DeepGuard blocked about 6 rootkits in my pretests. If DeepGuard is enabled to "ask you" then I would imagine it's nearly impossible to be infected with anything.

About the slow updates. The beta runs of servers located in Europe so it will be slower when downloading from the US. Once we release the product the updates will be available through our normal data centers around the world and should be much faster.

Sure, no problem Patrik. The new F-Secure looks like a big improvement over the 09 version. One other thing that I saw over and over again. If DeepGuard was left in default mode (only ask if unsure) then my VM was infected 2 out of 10 times (3 rounds of 10).

However, if DeepGuard was set to "always ask" nothing got through...ever. That's my biggest suggestion to you guys.
