I had heard that there were some "signs" that are considered significant concerning terrorist attacks and that many organizations are taking a heightened stance.

The difficulty when it comes to such terrorist strikes is that it is extremely difficult to be able to identify a specific threat let alone a time frame. Add to that the fact that terrorists themselves are flexible in their plans and can quickly change them in response to any government movement.
