I think the machines aren't hacked, they carry the malicious code built-in. Diebold is an Israeli company. I guess Israel decides who America's president and other elected officials will be. By the way, Diebold has "changed hands" and have a new name now. They want to hide their identity because they've got a bad reputation now but they are still the same people and the voting machines are all tainted.
we in ireland are currenly goign through the voting system, and there was alot of allegations that digital voting was swayed, and some of the politcians were pointed at and called hackers, but if this can be done then,it could mean any thing to a war to the end of the world
Sorry to be mean, but it's typical for Americans to be too lazy to do the elections manually and now that laziness has injured their democratic system. On the other hand, less and less Americans even bother to vote anyway... Maybe because they've lost trust in the election outcome? *cough*...2000 election...*cough*
If you are going to apologize, do so for your boorish attempt to insult America, and your impotence in the English language. It seems you are trying to make some degrading remark about our voting system. True, this technology and system of voting has not been perfected. However, It is entirely more efficient to do the voting electronically. In fact, why don't you all just let America lead the way in innovation and research as always, while you whine over each aspect that makes us better.
Paper trails? What do you think electronic data is stored on half wit, thin air? I'm sure you prefer writing papers by hand rather than typing and storing them on a word processor. And I'm guessing you take the movie "Terminator" seriously.
Why are you apologizing when you are insulting a person? I am American and find it offensive that you group everyone in a lump sum of lazy and thoughtless people.
Ehh... Why do you stupid americans use those machines then? Do as the smart ppl do, vote manually, to ppl that knows what they are doing, use paper ffs, stupid americans!
I'm emailing this link to WASHINGTON! Like they care..?

numb nuts; They are trying to demonstrate that it is a flawed system, not promote that flaw to be exploited.

Unfortunately, this will happen all over the world if electronic voting is not eliminated

Ok, sorry for my past remark. It was uncalled-for.

Without paper trails we have no hard copy of the voters choice. You are a fool to completely trust electronic voting over more traditional methods.
