I have listened to this song for years (one of my all time favourite) and I finally watched this video for the first time in year 2009. I just realised that when I was watching this MV, I didn't pay attention to the lyrics at all. The music, lyrics and video blend in so well together. You don't even need to understand Mandarin to understand this song. Although I do like the lyrics a lot. Seeing this MV just makes me like this song even more now.
