2x4s will hold up longer and there way cheaper than plywood

@unseenhate No they won't. The physics of landing on a flat rigid surface, as opposed to a curved surface are completely different. You land on a flat surface, you LAND then roll. A curved surface continues your downward momentum and converts it to forward.
