I thought this was the MOST impressive win by the Dawgs in 2010. Yeah, the "revenge" win over Nebraska in the Holiday Bowl was nice, but it was pretty clear from the start of that game that, Bo Pelini's word notwithstanding, the 'huskers weren't particularly interested in playing against the Dawgs in San Diego. But the same can't be said about Cal. They NEEDED that win in order to become "bowl eligible" themselves, and the Dawgs just TOOK it from them. Good job, Huskies!!

All WSU can do to make themselves feel better is hate on UW. They are pathetic. Nothing is going for them. You guys have a terrible school academically, you guys can't recruit anyone decent, you guys have a shitty coach (who should get a life long contract), you guys have less than half the Apple Cups UW has, we did tie 6 times so maybe that makes you feel better though you probably didn't like it when they removed the option of a tie, you guys haven't even won a Rose Bowl, nuff said! Perfect call for the way Cal lined up. There was basically no DL at the hole, just a stand-up LB and a DB trying to stuff it. The hogs will win that battle every time.

@crimson25haze Well, Washington really should win. This year, UW has better athletes than Wazzu and coach Sark can coach circles around Wulff. Wazzu's biggest problem is their head coach. They have some decent players, but that means nothing if you have horrid coaching. His total win/loss record at Wazzu is 5-31 (2 of those wins were against fcs teams) Next year, if they decide to fire Wulff and hire a new head coach, Wazzu should be at least a bit better. Still, UW should win this year.

If you are looking for rational analysis, you came to the wrong site. FWIW, I think WSU will give us a game, and I am concerned. These games are always close aside from last year.

BTW, while we scored 16 against Cal on the road, WSU only managed 13 at home. Perhaps you should have chosen a different argument.
