A WHOLE video montage of people headbobbing/groovin to this. If there were only someone and someway to organize this! Perhaps with people snacking on something at the same time as homage to our gluttony strawberry marshmallow friend.
Ohh, God, YES! The chiptune up-and-down melody near the beginning may be the best thing I've ever heard! The 1:00-in stuff is delicious...I love the way you've broken down the melody around 1:30! And it gets so - so slippery around 3:00! Also delicious! So good! I love it!! (And how did you get away with calling this a Smash Bros. ReMix instead of Kirby? Are the compositions different? :P)
While this remix may have been inspired by the version of this song that appears in Super Smash Bros., it actually comes from Kirby Super Star, the "Gourmet Race". The only credited composer on the original Super Smash Bros. is Hirokazu Ando. The "Gourmet Race" theme was composed by Jun Ishikawa and/or Dan Miyakawa.
This simple research took me about two minutes to do. You don't need nine names for "composer." Just two or three will do.
mkay, for everybody who seems confused, we decided to classify this track as a Super Smash Bros remix because SSB is the game that actually popularized Gourmet Race as a "character theme" of Kirby.. it had a fairly minor role in Kirby Super Star, yet thanks to SSB, it's probably the first song that comes to most peoples mind when they think of Kirby.
@halc9bit: Still, you don't need all those composers listed. The original SSB only had Hirokazu Ando as its arranger/composer, and "Gourmet Race" was written by Jun Ishikawa and/or Dan Miyakawa.
@bbriggsmusic: I'm really into learning and knowing the credits in movies, TV shows, video games, and other things. I feel that it's important that those who worked on something (or didn't) are properly credited. OC Remix is usually really good about getting the credits for original composers right, but they goofed here. No more than three people should be credited as the original composers: Jun Ishikawa, Dan Miyakawa, and Hirokazu Ando.
This song is soooo fucking sick.

Given the source music and remix title, I was expecting this to go in the complete opposite direction than it did.

Weird title, awesome track. ^‿^ Same thing I had to say about it when I first downloaded it from the Heroes vs. Villains album. =^p

Ah yes, this song is in Heroes VS Villains! One of my favorite tracks off of that. I'm surprised it took this long to get accepted.

Huh, I didn't realize Dream Land's song wasn't from Kirby game. Unless it is, and I'm just ignorant.
Vigafray 2 months ago
@Vigafray
Most Smash music is taken from or based off of other games. The dreamland theme is one of those (and it is from Kirby)
