Thats half of what im sayin. They try, but not to the same extent as they would an NRL grand final. Look at when the WC challenges are played - Pre-season NRL. This means the players, coaches, and pretty much the clubs entire foundation have their main focus set on the next NRL season, not the WC challenge. So my point being you cant say Super League is better than NRL on the sole basis theyre winning a majority of the WC challenges.

Saints were nearly as poorly prepared as Brisbane were. They were beaten by Harlequins and Wakefield (2 of the weaker sides) comprehensively before the match, and nothing was expected. And true champions do come over and win away, you couldn't.
English National team would do fine in the NRL, probably win it. You underestimate us.

In the juniors there's bigger hits than that, at school under 10's there's bigger hits than that, how the hell is this the tackle of the season? if you honestly think the super league is even close to the nrl you are a fool. the pace of the english comp is so much slower and the players are just so much crapper haha. world cup challenge is nothing to the australian teams, its not even televised on normal free to air tv. its played in our off season and the aussie team usualy rests players for the upcoming nrl season. old players from the nrl go over there at the END of their careers to earn some bucks and take it easy..

Actually...no. They really do believe its the next step up after the SL premiership. Which is what i said at the start. THE NRL DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE WORLD CLUB AS MUCH AS THE SUPER LEAGUE DO. Simple experiment, put one of the best teams (St Helens, Bradford) in the NRL. Theyd probably finish 9th. If they made the top 8, highly unlikely they would take out the championship.

^^^^ whaaat?? the only reason the nrl teams lose is because its not as important to them as it is to the super league teams. Once theyve won the nrl premiership, theres nothin more they need to achieve. The super league look at the nrl as the dominant competition so they believe the WC challenge is the ultimate prize, whereas the nrl teams dont. Simple.

Thats half of what im sayin. They try, but not to the same extent as they would an NRL grand final. Look at when the WC challenges are played - Pre-season NRL. This means the players, coaches, and pretty much the clubs entire foundation have their main focus set on the next NRL season, not the WC challenge. So my point being you cant say Super League is better than NRL on the sole basis theyre winning a majority of the WC challenges.
