I enjoy pigeon shooting. not in this context where they are boxed and realeased but in field where I have the farmers consent. While I understand where you are coming from if it is legal to shoot boxed pigeons it is legal and they are not doing anything against the law and you are essentially aggrevating and provoking them. While I do understand your concern for the well being of the animals you need to take your fight up with your state legislature and not with the morons at the gun club.

Unless you would like to live in a world over run by insects then i suggest you have a bit of respect for birds. Much of their diet consists of things like bees, flies and spiders. Destroying creatures like birds, bats, etc, causes insect populations to skyrocket. I swear, our school systems need to be seriously reevaluated.

Coming from a Mainer who got his hunting license this year, became a member of one of the best gun clubs in New England and coming from a family full of hunters i have to say that not only are the acts that these people commit absolutely despicable but the way they seem to have brainwashed and desensitized their children into thinking its a good thing to inflict pain on something is just downright evil.
