False. Jordan didn't have the biggest impact. That goes to Magic, Bird and Isiah. All 3 of those guys attracted fans in the 1980's and Jordan kept fans in the sport and Kobe kept fans in the sport while gaining some in the process, both did.

False. While both Bird and Magic had a tremendous impact on the game, even they will tell you Jordan had a far larger impact. Isiah's impact was minimal compared to any of those 3. Jordan attracted FAR more fans across the entire globe than any of those 3 or anyone else before or since.

Kobe isn't better than Jordan in any respect, other than possibly 3PT shooting. And yes, Jordan had elite shooting guards in his day: Heard of Clyde Drexler? FYI, Tmac isn't a true shooting guard. You also had Mitch Richmond in Jordan's day as well as Reggie Miller.

Kobe spent more than 60% of his career as the second option on his team. Jordan was option #1 from the start. I love MJ. Grew up watching MJ and thinking he was second to none.
But give credit where credit is due. Kobe is a far bigger offensive player than MJ ever was. The 81 that he dropped two years ago was the equivalent of scoring 140 in Wilt's era. Are you telling me that Mj never played against weak defenses? Where's his 81?

Actually, Kobe made himself the first option on the team even with shaq. That's one reason Phil called him "uncoachable". he took over 20 shots per game with shaq on the team 3 seasons, including 23.5 one year, more than he took this season! Plus, shaq drew attention like no other, giving kobe many more open looks, a benefit Jordan never had....

because on both occasions the teams intentionally tried to get them as many shots as possible,which most if not all NBA teams are against doing.its called team basketball,that's why the lakers were good a couple of years ago,they could pass despite the talent surrounding them.they have stopped doing it because they have tried too hard to make kobe everything,and that's from a laker fan.the problem though is that kobe has not figured it out that this is not a recipe for success.

Jordan shot from all areas of the front court, had an insane post game, great penetrator, could knock down a jumper or turnaround from anywhere when the penetration was taken away, as if often was, and and basically did everything conceivable better than Kobe does, other than 3 PT shooting where Kobe has an ever so slight edge 34% to 33%. Jordan was quite a bit better than Bryant has ever been.

Sorry kid, Kobe's 81 came against the worst defense in the league, with 11 scored in trash time and he did little else all game. MJ scored 69 to go along with 18 reb and 6 ass. That's why his 69 is game rated 64.6, higher than the 63.5 of Kobe's 81. Sorry kid, facts are facts. :)
