  • I crashed my cp heli similar to this yesterday! Picked it up popped the links back on and carried on flying! You have to love the blade mcpx. You have to push the envelope or its not fun!! nice collection of helis too! ROCK ON!!!!!

  • If this was a bigger heli, the carnage and repair bill would definitely match the size, lol. Love the 250, sweet little bugger.

  • good video, sorry about your bird.

  • Read all the comments on here and duly noted a lot of them. I'm considering having another go at helis I tried and gave up many years ago ( much younger then) with matbro MXB and mcgregor set with a 3.5 got as far as hovering but kept crashing which in them days it cost a lot more relatively. From this vid I am quite reasured as even though he plugged it there was not as much damage as I expected. I'm now down to a short list of three similar sized heli. and the Trex 250 is up there.

  • The "common wisdom" of flying "x" mistakes high is not always the best. Once, you lose it...you lose it, because it all happens so quick. So, don't be afraid to try flying closer/ lower near eye level(within reason). You can see quicker and respond quicker. However, I understand flying near ground is scary. Just don't "believe" that you must always fly high and away to get better. Fly close and just practice precision, and slowly add more tricks. Boring? Yup. Crashes? Minimal.

  • @trexinvert Flying close to the ground is anything but boring though, even when taking it easy. I do it all the time.

I think people shouldn't be afraid to crash if they can afford the parts though, there's no shame in crashing when you're learning or trying something new.

  • Wtf are chaps nice heli mine is almost built

  • Skids are cheap as chaps

  • u never let a plane or heli behind you or above u. always stay in front of u

  • Ahh ...... RC Helis. The quickest way to empty your wallet. and the worse is that 90% of those who fly them will not go beyond Hover.

  • @Giovanniram22 If people start flying with the right helicopter from the start, it really won't be that frustrating. Recommending expensive Align helis for a newbie is just a bad idea.

I think people underestimate how it takes both knowledge, skill and patience to learn to fly helicopters, but the learning curve is only too steep for those who have no patience (or no confidence) at all.

You can easily learn the basics of flying with a cheap simulator and USB transmitter like ClearViewRC.

  • @Giovanniram22 I hear these crazy statistics that only 4% of people can learn on their own, and 90% of everyone who tries to fly gives up before they learn. I don't think any of those are true, I see a ton of vids on youtube with noob this and noob that, hovering and some sport flight. heli's aren't that difficult, but it did take me at least 2 weeks to hover nicely and 3 months to sport fly at an altitude of around 200ft. However a lot of people think they can just pick one up and go.

  • also jared is going to lose more than his orientation if he keeps flying that close to himself!! reckless and dangerous. i hope this knuckle head doesnt fly a 500 like that!!

  • the smart thing to do would have been to hit throttle hold, try and minimize your damage as opposed to going in for a dirt nap full bore!!!

  • why can't they building these helicopters stronger to withstand an impact like that...one tap and the whole fucking heli explodes into pieces..pretty pathetic.

  • @zycan The cost would be unresonable and the heli wouldn't fly worth a damn.

  • @zycan Lol, actually Multiplex tried to accomplish that with their Funcopter.

You should check it out. Oh, and it barely flies and costs a whole lot.

  • You can't never beat the gravity force.

Gravity is the worst enemy from de heli pilots.

  • Yeah those smaller heli's are very hard to see especially on a cloudy day... At least it went donw in the grass... Much better than pavement or concrete... Nice Heli though, looks like it flies good for its size...

  • Hey Mates...it's just rock and rolling. Have fun. There seems to be quite a bit of analysis on what happenned. If you got the bullocks to go for it, keep it up you'll get better. 250 crashes are cheap. STay Safe Keep Simmin.

  • the kids were laughing too how embarrasing good thing you werent crying or else it wold have been even more embarrasing lol

  • take the heli away from him :D

  • wow very dangerous , at .016 secs that was very dangerous you should never let heli pass you that close never mind the pilot turns around and keeps flying like nothing happened , bottom line is fly withing your limits

  • It might appear that this heli was close, but it actually wasn't.. it is a Trex 250 after all.

  • he literally done that cos even my heli dont do that when i do them tricks.

  • @granturismoMiguel Ummmm..... and why not fly fast? the heli is more than capable of flying fast while still in control.

  • wtf are u talking about? u can go fats witht hem. u clearly dont know anything about helis

  • @granturismoMiguel you such a fucking fagget as nigger who sucks massive nigger balls at flying helis you like lick mexicans

  • lol

wo der auf komt sagt der tüp oh fuck xD wie sich des anhört

  • how much was the heli and the parts total?

  • lol i would crach that thing bevore i start it up XD

  • 0:18 your face was almost done.

  • just a lil duct tape and it will fly like new.

  • oo noo bro its bint

  • great flying right up to that point dude. It's a small heli, good for indoor flying or small areas. Fix it and get it back up there.

    Cheers

  • basicaly you lost controll paniced oh no its goin down and then you let it go down

  • oh please stop it you basically lost control of the heli that high up you had plenty of time to correct it you froze!!!!!

  • Watch it again, check out the movement on the way down, he tried to correct it all the way to impact. As you can see, the 250 is bloody hard to keep orientated.

  • so the damage cos around $150-300

    right?

  • Comment removed

  • @YourFriendlyMe Nah, it looks like it only costs about 50 bucks at the most. Heli's aren't expensive to repair unless you damage an engine or a gyroscope. Thats basically where the price of these helis is.

  • @HamiltonHeliCrew

I disagree. I agree with @bigednycles... Look at the heli orientation correctly. There's no more roll when he began to lose orientation, the heli stayed at the same roll, and the throttle is cut to minimal, pushing the heli down and crashing...

I might be wrong, just my observation, so cheers :)

  • @bigednycles obviously isnt experience enough to stay calm

  • the good old classic 'lost orientation' ayy?

Unlucky mate, hopefully wont be an expensive repair ayy? heli didnt look that bad after all ay? :P

    Happy Flying.

  • 1:17 :D

  • cheap as chips

    LOL

  • Don't know what parts to replace if you don't inspect it.

  • Definitely a small heli, and its pretty cloudy outside too... very easy to loose orientation with those conditions...

  • nothing wrong it is a small heli to see and crashes are expected, better than fucking a stripper with yeast infection.........ass-hole

  • What is it with people who fly RC Heli's and fuckin strippers?

  • And what do you spend your money on? I know people who spend this much on 1 night in the strip club or 1 weekend barhopping. At least he can fix the heli, meanwhile you spent the same money to get worked up by a stripper and have nothing to show for it??

  • ur troll is a pretty epic fail mah friend.

  • None of these aircraft has an infinite life span. It will crash eventually, but the fun you have is worth it. This crash probably cost less than $30 to fix, which isn't bad on a $450 helicopter.

  • I crashed my T-REX 250 last week when I took it inverted but neglected to hit idle-up first. Whoops. Zero damage even when it landed *inverted* in the weeds! Just dusted it off and flew.

I've started flying my 250 in waist high and taller brushes where I can only really do *hand* take offs and *hand* landings -- the 250 does not touch the ground. Well worth the trouble now because the 250 and tall brush is a good way for me to get much needed real-world inverted flying time under my belt.

  • you're a cock.... you cock fiend! Spend your 50 on a hooker.

  • At least I have a cock to stick in the hooker!! You knob jockey

  • So it's agreed that you fuck hookers? All righty then...

Seriously though, if you just apply yourself and get a girlfriend, you wouldn't have to pay for sex.

You have FAILED. Good day sir.

  • Better fuckin hookers than shagging sheep you fuckin retard!

I thought those who flew RC helicopters were the freaks that couldn't get a girlfriend, cos there too busy playing with their choppers!!

Go put pack on your inch thick geeky glasses, and look again, its not your girlfriend your shagging, its your mother!!

  • YOU HAVE FAILED.

  • u really dont look as if u had a lot of experience...

  • You have a keen eye, good observation, that's the first time he's ever picked up a transmitter before.

  • of course!!! I believe he can't even hover.

  • lol.. great control! this tiny helicopter is getting out of view very fast... nice to see you take the crash so easy.

  • When is the last time you flew backwards?

  • me? an hour ago on the sim

  • nice heli nice crash but i thought it was going to be a trip to the hospital because you got hit in the face by it.

  • 0:17 scared the crap out of me!! Thought it was gonna hit your face...WHEEEEW!!!!

  • How much was the total repair cost to get this bird back up in the air?

I have one T-Rex 250 super combo in the drawer and have yet to assemble it. I was hoping this little bird would be less costly since its so light and should be less damage with crashes like this.

  • Oh men...what a fu...c.. good luck next time..

which gyro and servo are you using..thanks..

  • Been there - done that, got the video to prove it too. No big deal right, crashing is all part of it.

  • Ouch - same thing happened to me... but I think it's more likely when you're flying around yourself in circles. It gets pretty small when it's far away - I hate that.

  • Do it again!!! :)

  • ouch!

  • HAHAHA nice crash, slow mo rocks.
