Seen them 3 times at the Apollo Theatre in Manchester, they do a couple of nights every year just before Christmas, I strongly recommend going with family or friends.

These guys have been playing Beatles tracks for over 30 years, thats 4 times longer than the Beatles were doing them. Always an impressive, emotional and funny night.

Now it is a year later. This performance is as good as I thought it was. The nice thing about typing is that I can only hear the performance, as the video window is all the way up at the top of the page and not visible. And this performance easily captures the passion of the original recording. The audience is usually right and in this case, just listen to the reaction around the 2:12 mark.

I think the current rating of 5 Stars is spot on correct for a cover version.

Why is it called Ringos theme?

I give the song a B. Harmonies are great but the John solo is just average. No where near as good as John's. This solo is one of my 3 favorites by John, along with Twist and Shout and Slow Down.

I have to disagree. I think this performance is better than the actual Beatles did on Ed Sullivan in Miami 44 years ago. Seriously, while I type, I cannot see the video. But the audio is easily in the A range. The harmonies are stunning.

I am sorry but I think this song misses something. I hear no screaming girls! Well, not that many anyway, hehe. Apart for the lack of screaming it sounds very much like the Beatles! An excellent performance and I like the talks and joking. Is it possible to include more talk in the youtube video releases? They sound like alot of fun and I hate to miss fun!
