  • SHe is MY musical Goddess.

  • what a talent..shame she sold out

  • @ghostgrabber yea its a real shame she made money, and was able to create MORE awesome songs instead of one, and then give up and get a day job.

    what an idiot you are.

  • @ghostgrabber sold out? You mean had producers and ppl knocking at her door...

  • On a winters day I find myself thinking of a time, playing with my son in the falling snow. He giggles as he throws the small snowball he has so carefully made. I hear his sweet call, "Daddy! push me on the sledge" We slip and slide, together we ride. I hold him tight, I feel my son's spirit reach out to mine. At that moment we bump into a lampost that makes us laugh. Elliott turns to me and looks into my eyes, "Daddy I love you", I reply, "I know son, I know that you love me" a winters day.

  • @onlylexus Thats deep right there

  • @onlylexus Thats deep

  • i watch this video like ALL the time!! i cannot get enough of it!!! I like these type of songs better from sarah. I mean i like her newer stuff, but her older music tells a lot more about her..and it is more from the soul I believe than most of her newer 'rock' stuff.

  • the piano reminds me of erik satie;good stuff!

  • who's Ben ?

  • an 11 year old boy she knew who died of a brain tumor.

  • On the hills of fire the darkest hour

I was dreaming of my true love's pyre

Who will bring a light to stoke the fire

Fear not for you're still breathing

    On a winter's day

I saw the life blood drained away

A cold wind blows on a windless day

Hear the cry for new life the morning's flame

You were the brightest light that burned too soon in vain

Who will bring you back from where there's no return

  • Hallowed are the Ori.

  • Fear not for you're just dreaming

    On a winter's day

I saw the life blood drained away

A cold wind blows on a windless day

  • Wherever you go, there you are.

  • "A cold wind blows on a windless day"

One of my favorite lyrics of all time

  • This is the kind of song you'll hear in heaven.

  • Sara looks so young what year is this ???

  • 1989, she was 20.

  • No,she was 21 in 1989,she was 20 in 1988.

  • 1988, iirc

  • on my winter's day.... i saw the life-blood drained awat.....

En un día de invierno, dejaste que la vida se escapara de mis venas, dejaste mi sonrisa huir.... En un día de inverno dejaste... en un día de invierno me dejaste

  • i'm dancing to this in my modern contempoary class.

  • wow. the songs so pretty

  • She has voice of an Angel.

    She also looks like one.

People can be so closed minded about music.

When i play this people tell me i have bad taste

  • That she could write something so stirring, poignant and beautiful at 21 is just amazing.

  • Sarah has the Voice of an Angel! And she looks like such a Kid here, about 20 years old I reckon!Gorgeous....just Gorgeous!!!!!!

  • Yes, she has an amazing voice.......but the most amazing thing is that she is singing this for a precious little boy. Let's not forget Ben. Thanks, Sarah.

  • I love all her music-it truely touches your soul

  • This is truly amazing, I'm sure she couldn't hit these notes anymore. But it doesn't matter, we will always have this recording.

  • it's not so high, tough

and she has got an amazing voice

  • I heard her sing in concert - oh yes she still can! it truly amazing - she sang Fear

and ripped the roof off the joint. I think

that song has higher notes than this one!

  • what is the name of that stringed instrument in the back ground

  • its a double bass

  • It would be interesting to see if she can still hit those notes. I'd love to hear her try it, even if she had to bring the key down. Great song.

  • she's singing in her head voice so she should be easily able to.

  • Her voice is amazing! How can anybody sing like that? :O

  • one of my favs :) love it

  • anybody know when this vid was made??

  • On the video for "streaming" the bass player describes in Comments & Responses when it was filmed so I'm sure you can message him for info on this video also. It's from her first album so I would think '88-'90?

  • it's steaming and yes it is is from 1989
