Ok, I tried doing what you said, but I have GIMP2 and when I try to do it like you say.....It don't work......Fuzzy will not select what you say it will and it wants to put my picture in the background.......and please talk louder.

Grrr..... I have been trying to follow this thing, but gimp has changed, and all i do is paste on top of the stupid template. I hate that CS is more than 300 dollars, i would use that instead then, but can someone please show how to make kaneva clothes using free software (blender, gimp, paint, etc. etc.)? All they have is how to make it with thousand dollar software or this thing, and it doesn't work (followed directions, but doesn't work.)

i clicked the white space but it only outlines the clothes then when i got to paste them they go behind the template

If i paste it into it comes onto my Back and Font letters -.- not on my shirt, how do i fix :S

@just0wned if you are pasting into the area that is selected by the ant lines, and you have the antlines around the area you wish to show your letters they should not come out on the back.

When i open the templates in Gimp they are usually completly black, is this normal? Also when i try to use the fuzzy select tool it does not put the outlines around the template. How can i fix this?

If you are using a kaneva template there will only be one layer as they are jpeg images.

ok i cna make cloths just not with other designs on google i want to use! the copy and paste onto thing doesnt work i have watched the video at least 3 time and i still can tget it and the space undder the left bar with difrrent options of sixes and stuff mine disaperrd! help!

you most likely touched it while it was selected and it moved slightly, just copy your item and paste into another template save and upload new one...
