thankyou for sharing this song so many including me were impacted by these four musicians was supposed to go see beachboys in concerns a few days ago and didnt just thought it would not be the same without dinnis and carl and i wnat to remember the band the way they sounded in my youth
Thank you for this, Train. Very touching. How strange.....the two most influential bands of the 20th century and both their names began with "BEA"......
...you can spend all day or a lifetime trying to compare these two bands and it's individual members.....slamming one and praising the other OR praising one and slamming the other, but at the end of the day...or a lifetime only ONE thing remains crystal CLEAR.....there IS no comparison.
Although I am not familiar with your band, I am sure your personal losses are just as tragic as the names lost in your song title. Thank you for sharing.
I think this is a beautiful tribute to both. Brian had to keep them on top all by himself. John n Paul were real enough to realize that. The Beatles were so respectful of their Idols and were never afraid to show it. I think the world misses that honesty. j
Through teary eyes I feel compelled to applaude you for pouring your heart right into this song. There was indeed a reason the lyrics came to you on that cloudy, windy day. I thank you for putting these words to song and sharing with the world your love and admiration for 4 fallen warriors who the world adored. I belive Carl, Denny, George & John would be chuffed that you remembered them in those most beautiful way. I will return to this post when I too feel the need to heal.
Man !!! You have just blown me away. This is the most beautiful gem I have found in many years. You sing it exactly the way it should be sung, and you make me want to record it. God, this is good ....beyond good. Thank you so much. I will listen to this with my heart over and over.
Great song and sentiment - about four very important people who helped show us the way through this murky life.

Any truth to the rumor that Paul & Ringo, with Brian, Al, and Mike might record together? What a great band that would be for old times sake!!

@trainfire28 We would see Ike & TIna back together before that entourage would take the stage.

well done. beautiful song. i especially like the harmonica. for some reason it just seems really fitting.
notsuree0521 2 years ago
At the time I thought the harmonica gave it a sweet, but sad sound. In the bands history I've only played it on three songs.

Very nice tribute to the departed BB's and Beatles members. Steve's vocals are appropriate for such a tune. Good work guys and thanks.
