Bad analogy, comparing Queen Khan to Apollo Creed... Khan is a one-dimensional fighter, who was man- handled by a decent, but not great fighter in Peterson. You're right about that bullshit knock down in the 1st rd.... It's the weakest knock down i've seen in quite a while. Peterson definitely deserved the win. bcos he was stalking and preying on the track star Queen Khan all night. Good analysis, though.

I don't know.....Peterson got the W, it was controversial. but I do agree that Peterson took the fight to the champion and TOOK his title. There were moments when Lamont was literally chasing Khan. I know people tend to call backing up (running). But he was literally running. lol. I've always said, Freddie Roach fighters cannot fight moving backwards. Peterson was the aggressor. He land the HARDER CLEANER shots. Khan needs to get more accuracy or sit down on those combos so that they count.

I have to say is that - it was a great fight!

Timothy won Peterson also by 1 or 2 points so another close fight.

As for the fight I think that Amir Khan did enough to win the fight even after the points deduction. From Amir and Peterson knockdown.

In these type of close fights Refree always give the advantage to more Volumne puncher and person who lands more Punches. And Amir khan threw 248 more punches then Lamont which made him the favourite. Nevertheless, rematch who wins?

@SherryProducations Peterson did not win that fight....the referee won that fight for peterson...2 points for pushing is fucking joke...boxing is a fucking joke....good thing i went to the bar to watch ufc and watched this fight online instead of watching it during the ufc...U have two fighters give it their all....and a biased ref determines who wins by deducting points for PUSHING???? what is this fucking figure skating...if they ever fight again peterson wont see round 5.

@SherryProducations Bullshit! First of all, Khan is EXTREMELY OVER-RATED! He is an outside, middle-of-the-ring fighter, who has no inside game whatsoever. Plus, he's got no defence either. He's a packaged product, marketed to a hero starving public, tired of seeing black cocky fighters. I mean, seriously, how many good black American fighters has Khan beaten, ever? He's got no boxing smarts, and he's soft... Peterson landed more power shots, which was enough 2 earn him the win.
