Seeing some of those bands live such as paramore, simple plan, TAAR, and taking back sunday really gives you the impression they aren't "emo" bands, and they aren't really classed as "emo" bands. A good example for an "emo" band would be black veil brides. Times have changed...But three days grace is a more rock / metal band.
