actually, its more of a licensing thing. the original tvc was never meant to leave japan. so some characters did not have their themes for the uas version. and it would be weird if some characters did not have their themes, so all the themes were scrapped.

@Sonicisbadazz Yeah the japanese execs have a great misunderstanding about us... they think we don't like japanese theme songs, voice dubs (eng subs - voice actors are far superior) and even certain games that would obviously do well here.

Love the added instruments, guitars, and the building tension of it all, but I miss that bass and just the overall adrenaline-pumping feeling of the original. I think that's what IV's version gets down perfectly, but this is definitely perfect for Ryu's "silent warrior" persona.

The best theme in the Street Fighter, no, FIGHTING GAME universe. The Street Fighter II OST is one of the most perfect OST ever made in music. Capcom did the right thing by making the remix sound almost the like the arcade original, but with a more modern feel. In short.... Ryu's Theme pwnz.
