Ha ha! How clever, doing a duet with yourself. To bad you couldn't use a blue screen so that you can literally be "besides yourself" 8) Croon it baby!
Me too. I used to have a chromatic harmonica, but I wore it out. I haven't gotten another one, but I should. That would make for an interesting combo: guitar, uke and harp. Nice.
A real "One man band"! Very nice! Well sung and well played! Did you ever listen to amazing and unlucky Judee Sill? There are two rare (and touching) videos of her on youtube, and I'm very interested on knowing what do you think about it, if you're interested too, of course.Have good times!
Yes, it's so sad. Too many bad experiences for her, but her music was so pure, as well as Nick Drake's. He was an incredible guitar player, singer/songwriter. I don't know if you know him. But maybe I'm becoming a little bit boring. Please, let me know, and I'll stop all this senseless comments. Have nice days.
To this the mighty Tarzan might have said: "Comments Good! Me like comments!" If I, myself, were saying this I would, of course, say it in a much more civilized and cultured manner like, "Bring it on!"
I learned to play the uke when I was 7 years old, but I took a long break from it when I started playing the guitar. I only recently have taken up the uke again. It's been fun relearning it.
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'll be doing more of this soon. This way I don't have to deal with persnickety band members...oops...that would be me! :)
Thanks, Dave. I've always said I would be nice to have my own combo. Although I don't think I meant it quite so literally. :) I'm exited by the possibilities in this medium. Do you have any ideas about posting a duet?
OK. I'll give you the pick from three songs, then I will record it, and send you it. You can then do the tenor to the same karaoke file, which I will also send you, or do your own music.
I suggest a choice from the following three pieces Country Roads by Denver, Top of the world by Carpenters, and Babe by Styx. You choose!
try usenetposts dottcom forwerd slesh crjd dott mp3. i have to write that cryptically or it will be gotten rid off by the row-bott, but I think you'll understand it. That's the sound file. Hi, Kenbank.
I appreciate your song. As you I love to play guitar and Ukulele. Sometimes I use to play harmonica too.
Congratulations.

Thanks, corronco. Yes, I have listened to one of her songs recently. It was very good. Too bad she had such a tragic life.

We should do all three...eventually. Since I'm on a John Denver jag at the moment let's start with that one. How will you send the files?
