This really makes me want to learn this, I would love to do everything for myself like people used to do all the time, make my own tools and such, no paying for anything. Life used to be so simple, now government is taking all the money and ability from the people, too bad we can't go back to the old ways.
its guys like Ed scott that are becoming scarce .I pray his work will be passed on and honored . I watched your video and it was inspiring and refreshing ,Thank you! :)
@TheLidKazer No, it's not sinew, nor is it from a buffalo, you dip shit. Listen to the video before you answer people's questions, please. He said it's Brownell's b-50 dacron, and that's what it is, not sinew.
What I'm doing here is a reverse twist, or Scott twist (Ed Scott) string, which is superior to a Flemish twist. The reason this is superior to a Flemish twist bow string, is that instead of twisting these strings together, I'm going to braid or plat so it can't untwist on you; Flemish twist strings when taken off the bow and laid around can untwist and come apart; mine can not.
Are there any Atheist bowyers ?
