Forban 2 . The Daring Type 45 class is in no way a match for the Burke Type IIa. The Burke is larger, with a SPY-1D and SPQ-9B integrated radar system that is an equal and more probably superior to the Sampson / S1850M combination. The missile magazine of the Burke can hold twice the number of missiles of a greater variety than the Daring As an anti-submarine warfare platform the Burke is massively superior .Type 45 is pretty much a single mission destroyer and that is the air defence.

Forban 2 . The Daring Type 45 class is in no way a match for the Burke Type IIa. The Burke is larger, with a SPY-1D and SPQ-9B integrated radar system that is an equal and more probably superior to the Sampson / S1850M combination. The missile magazine of the Burke can hold twice the number of missiles of a greater variety than the Daring As an anti-submarine warfare platform the Burke is massively superior .Type 45 is pretty much a single mission destroyer and that is the air defence.

The US has more naval tonnage than the next 17navies COMBINED. It has 75 total acres of carrier deck space in the fleet, the rest of the world 15. We have 24 carriers(including Wasp and Tarawa classes), the rest of the world 12 (most being dwarfed in size and capabilities to ours).Most of RN ships are outdated..Type45 is a single mission frigate ,whereas Burke is multi role more powerful and better armed.Also your new carriers are massively inferior to next gen Gerald Ford class supercarriers.

If viewed soley in terms of success on the battlefield, the British won the war of 1812 hands down. The big exception is the battle of New Orleans, which was fought after the war was officially over. We did not conquer Canada. The issue of British siezing our ships and sailors was almost a moot point since the Napoleonic wars were over. Since we started the war and did not achieve our political objectives and had our capitol burnt down for doing so, I think it is fair to say we lost.
