It was sometime in the mid '60's, at a place called Ghost Town in the Sky, near Gatlinburg, TN, Peter Brown, already a top TV star, was the star attraction for the live performance shoot-out in the Old-West town street. After the show was over, he sat at a table and greeted a LONG line of adoring fans -- most of them kids. He warmly greeted each kid, signing and giving a picture of himself to each kid. He did all this with much enthusiasm and smiles. A very impressive guy!! Lifelong fan here!
P.B. was one of my childhood tv heroes.. like a cool older brother I wanted to be like when I grew up. I haven't seen him or thought about him in many years. Thanks for this montage. What a hoot seeing him as a blonde ("Ride the Wild Surf") I think that head scratch at 1:46 was intended to let fans who always see him in a cowboy hat know he hasn't gone bald!
I have followed Peter Browns career over the years..Remember him as Greg Peters in "Days of Our Lives" In my opinion the four appearances he made on Cheyenne, is what started his career... Clint Walker deserves a thank you...
Yes, Peter is well deserving for the Lifetime Achievement Award for the wonderful parts he has had in films and television. He is truly a cowboy in my heart. I grew up watching him and loving him. He is very handsome in his own goodlooking way and he can't help it :) True he's no Tom Selleck (I adore Tom) but then Tom Selleck is no Peter Brown. I love them both for who they are. Tom is Tom, Peter is Peter in their own handsome and wonderful ways. Peter looking good for a man in his 70's
@wordsfromtheheart51 jan and dean were supposed to be in ride the wild surf 2:50 but they had to testify in the frank sinatra junior kidnapping case jan rented an apartment to the defendant and he tryed to borrow money to buy a gun his twinkie defence that frank sinatra junior was somehow in on it didnt work
saw this guy on 'lawman' on encore westerns, also in 'laredo' ...good actor, good screen presence...especially good in american western roles...very natural, likeable...

Peter brown was just an average "C" actor! He wasn't handsome because his face was not shaped well. He didn't star in any great movies nor "b" rated movies. Let's face it he wasn't a Tom selleck by any means.
Are you kidding me, Bidil6? Hare you seen him in Summer Magic: The best looking guy ever!!!! And his acting in Lawman and Laredo, it was superb! He was in many shows and movies. You don't know what you're talking about. I love Tom Selleck, too, and think he would make a great Parmalee, but no reason to put a wonderful actor dwon.
Longtime peter brown fan and Laredo was my favorite Western -- he's great in Lawman and probably the best looking in Summer Magic -- talk about Prince Charming . . .
I only just "discovered" Peter Brown this week. He sure was devastatingly handsome in his younger days. What a body of work -- I had no idea, but now I'm planning to watch Lawman and Laredo if I can track down a box set. I am in luuuuv...!
I hope you found the DVDs of Lawman and Laredo -- Peter is devastatingly handsome, I totally agree. Check him out in Summer Magic, a perfect Prince Charming if I ever saw one!
I have long been a Peter Brown fan, ever since I first saw Lawman, when I was in my teens. I appreciate seeing this video with some scenes from his career that I remember well. I have always wished to meet Peter Brown; it would be a great honor to do so.
Ive always been a Peter Brown fan, used to look for his name in TV Guide. But I never considered the entirety of his work and career. WOW, pretty amazing. Hes done everything. Beach movies, Disney movies, TV series, Westerns, Cult Movies, motorcycle movies, even blaxploitation movies. My personal favorite is Piranha, Piranha, a low-budget thriller, because of the chemistry between him and co-stars Tom Simcox (another anonymous star) and spooky William Smith.

Wow! Peter Brown, and Robert Fuller! Both of them were really young in Lawman. Thank you for posting I have never seen those clips before.
