Odd how Singapore and Qatar use the 3-3-3 seating on the 777 while Emirates uses 3-4-3. Just flew with Emirates yesterday and I kinda felt claustrophobic but nevertheless the flight was good. I gotta try Singapore or Qatar next time tho.

to be honest, what i don't like from shanghai is the food. too oily. I ended up in sichuan restaurant. you're lucky, trying lots of airlines. I am stuck with SQ on my family and my own accord, because my family insists SQ is the best. Even I can't let go of SQ on my own accord.
I have really limited airlines I've tried: SQ (90% of all), British Airways, easyjet, JAL, ANA, American, Lufthansa, Qantas, Garuda, Lion Air, defunct Adam Air, KLM, Philippines, and soon, Asiana (January 2012) TYO-ICN

Its good actually.. easier to earn miles and redeem rewards and upgrades and anyway, I'd always feel SQ has a consistently good service, they may not be great for all flights for sure but certainly there's an acceptable standard of service onboard. @davielenake the rego is usually located above the front wheels or near the tail of the aircraft. sometimes i'll have to walk around the airport to get a good view of the registration numbers :D

It's so unlikely to see a North Korean plane :D Shanghai Pudong is somewhat looking similar to Hong Kong International Airport when it comes to architecture and layout. What do you think Gav? Hope you are feeling better. A wonderful presentation yet again and the SQ staff again and again show thier friendliness and professionalism. Do you know if you can charge your battery pack (for the cam) from the USB are there such adapters? I love the airline spotting you made before you boarded nice collection of aircraft and very clear. Asian Airports never seem to disappointed - I heard that in china filming is not allowed did you get any problems at the airport?

@RvXKaz Lol thanks Well PIA is based in pakistan but still its an alright plane Its light blue seats on econmey and inflight entertainment is quite good i was inpressed crew never saw them smile but the meal was nice landing was amazing it was so smooth and QR i flew in 2008 a340-600 and a330 they were soo good i never wanted to leave the plane crew so friendly seats amazing everything was just amazing

Once again a very thorough video from city to airport then departure to arrival, thanks for the captions and translations! Wow I never thought Skytrax's only 1-star ranking airline would be allowed to fly to a world class airport such as Shanghai Pudong. Geez, I wonder when Air Koryo will be starting services to the United States, haha :)

Awesome video mate, really got me fooled and confused at first with Air Koryo. Would have been cool if you showed us a video on that too haha if you did fly with them. Looks like the SQ girls looked after you even though you were sick :) SQ Girls are a great way to fly :D Great vid.

Wow! More, more and more unique planes/airlines spotted. Waaah! It's so unlikely to see a North Korean plane :D Shanghai Pudong is somewhat looking similar to Hong Kong International Airport when it comes to architecture and layout. What do you think Gav? I'm kinda amazed that the boarding announcement is computer generated. What a modern airport. :) Btw, do you get to have visas when going to Shanghai?

Hope you are feeling better. A wonderful presentation yet again and the SQ staff again and again show thier friendliness and professionalism. Do you know if you can charge your battery pack (for the cam) from the USB are there such adapters? I love the airline spotting you made before you boarded nice collection of aircraft and very clear. Asian Airports never seem to disappointed - I heard that in china filming is not allowed did you get any problems at the airport?

Lol still were the crew more friendly than the flight from singapore to shanghai anyway poor you you had a cold i reamber on my flight from lahore to london on PIA 777-200lr I Was ill it was terible but im sure you enjoyed this flight next flight i hope would be Singapore to doha On qatar airways! good luck!

@RvXKaz Lol thanks Well PIA is based in pakistan but still its an alright plane Its light blue seats on econmey and inflight entertainment is quite good i was inpressed crew never saw them smile but the meal was nice landing was amazing it was so smooth and QR i flew in 2008 a340-600 and a330 they were soo good i never wanted to leave the plane crew so friendly seats amazing everything was just amazing
