too bad they omitted any of the many scenes from Marquesas, where Rob unnecessarily trashes people to the camera, in mean and bigoted ways, including the "queer" John, who he says he won't be sleeping by. There's all kinds of stuff they could have shown that show that BRob isn't really a very good guy.
Kathy was concerned that he really hadn't changed the dark side of himself since Marquesas...and she's right.
it says a lot, and really sucks, that women didn't get as many votes for this fan favorite thing. Women aren't allowed to play aggressively, or the same as men, without being disliked by mainstream folks. Women vote a lot, I guess, so they tend to dislike other women and vote for the guys. And guys are misogynist and vote for the guys. sad. That Kathy, for example, wasn't even in the top 4 is amazing.
Rupert plays a game where if he makes it to the final three (or in earlier seasons 2) that he will definitely surely win because he plays a very honorable game. For those who know who Coach is, he may say it all the time but Rupert, to me at least, plays the most honorable game. Having said that, it puts him in a disadvantage late game because no one would want to sit next to him in the final tribal council.
I'm shocked that Big Tom made the top 4, especially the way he behaved at the end. I guess a lot of back woods people have computers. I'd vote Shii Ann or Amber as the 4th long before him. I thought that Jerri may even get some sympathy votes and squeak into the top 4.
@mghradmgh I don't think it's backwoods people; some just find Tom entertaining, if a little bigoted. the thing with Rob, I think a lot of viewers sided with Tom as the 'pure' one.
as far as women, when they play aggressively, they're called bitches, and when they take more 'traditional' roles, they're seen as useless or undeserving. men dislike both types, and women turn on each other and dislike each other.

Rob played a nearly perfect game, but I think Amber fully deserved her win. They both played the game exactly how it should be played. They were competitive, strategic, loyal to each other, and cut-throat to the others. They need to stop showing that clip of Lex and Rob, haha. The two of them are quite possibly my two favorite Survivors ever, and I hate seeing Lex look like an idot and Rob look like a jerk (whether or not those things are true, haha)

I'm so happy that rupert won! I agree along with the 38 million americans who voted for rupert. he totally deserved it. i enjoyed watching him and the way he also laugh and scream. so happy for him. i'm looking forward watching him and the other cast of survivor heroes and villains.
That sweetie is one of the few loved ones in Survivor history that had to eat the most revulsive insects to try to be with him. And they didn't even win that reward.
@bongu21 38 million people voted, but they didn't all vote for Rupert. He got a plurality of those votes. We only see parts of all of these people on the show. There's a REAL survival game on the discovery channel, without voting, challenges, manipulation, prizes or $1 million. Its called "out of the wild : the alaskan experiment". They have to hike miles to get to civilization, with only what they can carry. google it.

Rob admits he exploited real life. that's a big problem, and a reason not to have returning players, which JP admitted at the time, and vowed never to do again. oh well. so much for that.

When they aired the All Stars Finale (this episode), It was still a month or two before Vanuatu began shooting. What probably happened was they decided on 18 instead of 16 at the very end of the casting process, which would still have been going on during the All Stars Reunion.

Fouth trbie was surpose to have Christy Heidi Sandra Barin Gervse and Jhon.
But since Sandra and Heidi turned it down. So they decied to turned into only 18 castways.Its shame becouse i whould to see Christy and Heidi again.
