Stars haven't won the Cup since 1999. Haven't seen the Finals since 2000. Haven't won the division since 2006. And they've missed the playoffs 3 consecutive years.
Sorry man it's not a good hockey team right now and they have a long way to go to make the finals. You have one borderline elite player in Richards and he is an UFA. And outside of him you really have no true elite players with game breaking ability. In the West you need those players, preferably more than 1 to win.

Up until about 2002 or 2003 a player could not be in the goalie's crease before the puck. Even a foot in the crease was strictly enforced.
That goal would not be controversial now, but it was how it was done then that matters. The NHL let the goal stand because they deemed Hull had possesion of the puck before he entered the crease.
Look at Brian Holzinger skate right by Hull and flop on the ice before Hull takes the shot. What a worthless Piece of shit. If that was anybody worth a damn, Hull never would have got the shot off, but Holzinger is a bum. Fuck him.

Plus even if it had been called no goal, Buffalo had to score first, and then win game 7, Odds were still 3 to 1 against them. Hockey historians today see this as a great moment for hockey, making one of the best rule changes in recent history.

Up until about 2002 or 2003 a player could not be in the goalie's crease before the puck. Even a foot in the crease was strictly enforced.
That goal would not be controversial now, but it was how it was done then that matters. The NHL let the goal stand because they deemed Hull had possesion of the puck before he entered the crease.

Ok, to people that don't know anything about hockey, its a judgement call, the percentage needed to make a no goal call in that position was not met, nuff said. Plus even if it had been called no goal, Buffalo had to score first, and then win game 7, Odds were still 3 to 1 against them. I personally have a vote for the hockey hall of fame, I know what I am talking about. Hockey historians today see this as a great moment for hockey, making one of the best rule changes in recent history.

@poop6936 buffalo has struggled over the years and we have had very bad seasons. the reason why I love Buffalo so much is because they rebound from bad seasons and have great onesjust because we never won the cup doest mean we are bad, we just had some tough breaks. And Buffalo has some of the most die hard fans out there.
