My Aiptek A-HD would blow up at the zoo! A-HD's sound is like so high it will like blow out your ears. You changed my mind from a Canon HF100. I might go for this.
The battery will last for about 1 hour (55 to 70 mins). I recomend to have at least an extra battery and/or a portable charger. And you will be able to fit around 2 hours of video in a 4Gb sd card. All this with the highest potencial of the cam in terms of image quality. Normal setting regular quality, which still good. Will be around 1.5 to 2 hours of battery and 3 to 4 hours of video, holding no photo in the sd card or any other video from older shoots.
Yes it does. When you shoot with any of these camcorders you make video clips. What i mean with this is that when you press REC it start recording and when you press REC again to stop the recording the camcorder leaves a clip in the sd card with whatever is the time you have recorded since you pressed rec the first time 'till the second time. So what you do later is eather use the software that comes with the camcorder to upload the video to your pc,
Thanks for the reply. I'm try to see if I want to get one. I'm used to Panasonic OIS (Opticl Image Stabilization), but would love this to make tripe videos.

Is there anyway you can make it full screen?

Did you simply upload the footage to YouTube or did you edit it in any way?

I just uploaded it. I haven't done anything to it. Thanks for comment.

Do you know if the HD1000 has the same ability to shoot footage and upload it to YouTube directly?

The HD2's stabilization works fine only if you take shots in a smooth way.
What i mean with smooth is not the way i filmed this video.
As you can see in the video i keep moving the camcorder from one direction
to another too fast and zooming and panning like crazy. I have noticed that the
stabilization system needs a little of time to work. I have some other clips
from the same place and almost every clip looks like this one.

But if you see at 00:17 you will notice how the stabilization works for less
than a second maybe. Anyways it is my first camcorder ever and my first time
using it. So i would say that for a person with no experience filming, is going
to take some time until getting used to shot smooth videos with the HD2. I think
a small tripod would be a good tool to carry with the camcorder. Thanks for your
comment.
