And also i just built a M3 on BMWUSA dot com and it was 87k+ and i didn't even add all the options.. also i can easily get a E46 for under 17k my friend just got one for 8k with a GTR hood and CSL front bumper and rear apron he also got the CSL trunk conversion along with it although the car was stock it was very clean. I suggest you do some research before running YOUR mouth.

As a DIY'er, i've found that practically all BMW parts, whether OEM or aftermarket vendors are expensive, though the price tag is well worth it for the driving experience. I paid $2,000 for a new clutch and lightened flywheel on my E46. Lets see, AC schnitzer wheels for my E36 M3 were $4,000. New cooling system and shock mounts for that car was roughly $3,000. So.... Yeah BMW's are expensive to mod and maintain.

That 135i manages almost almost all 300hp and 300tq to the wheels! Edmunds did a dyno test and got 285HP and 297TQ to the WHEELS! I've never heard of a car almost put down its engine power rating.
