Ok, I may be misinformed, but... To me it seems all the characters are unique except for Marth and Ike. All the characters have unique powers, unique graphics, and they all have their special little things. But, as far as I see, Marth and Ike are just 2 guys with swords, without any personality. They just swing their sword, while other characters have wide ranges of techniques. Could someone please inform me what is unique and/or useful about them?

I havent played brawl myself, but Marth was high tier in SSBM (that means he is one of the best characters) because of his speed, counter abilities and aerial movability.

They are unique much like any other character in this game. The FE series isnt a very big hit in Europe or the US, so their personalities are harder to spot. And they have a pretty wide range of abilities if you ask me though they DO lack range attacks.

Ok. I've never played as Marth, Roy, or Ike, since they never seemed appealing to me. I know he's one of the strongest, but I didn't know if he had any "special little thing" such as how Zelda and Sheik teleport, Pit and Meda Knight both fly, Kirby mimics powers, etc.

Hes got a useless shieldbreaker which I've never managed to use properly, a counterattack which just owns everything and a pretty nice Combo. His A attacks is the bomb though, especially in the air. Great range and power combined with speed = win.
