Yes Anniversary kept the orginal soundtrack and they rerecorded all the audio tracks for voice parts and added in a Video Terminal which gives us a little info on what's to come for Halo 4. One thing of warning you cannot recover Skulls or access terminals if you are playing in Classic Mode. They are unviewable in that mode.
Other than that Singleplayer mode is completely awsome. Loving it and the flood still brought back the memories from the orginal.

The musical composers said that they wanted the original Halo soundtrack to fit the sci-fi realm, yet they also wanted it to give the player a sense of the "ancient", that this world you're isolated on (the Halo) is like an unexplored tropical rainforest or mountain range...which is essentially what it is, from a certain perspective.
I think the composers did a fantastic, utterly incredible job of doing this in the first Halo game. Enough said.
I don't see what's so bad about ODST. Personally, I dig the jazzy, mellow feel to the soundtrack and it rivals to be my favorite OST next to Halo 2's. It was interesting to see Marty to take it in a different direction with it.

That game was about atmosphere and a sense of isolation and vulnerability. Where-as Halo has traditionally been all about feeling like a bad-ass cyborg and smashing alien faces in. I love both, but I think people need to stop expecting ODST to be like the other games and enjoy it for what it is and the unique way it tells its story. And the soundtrack is amazing.

Im going to have to say Halo 1 was the best story, it created the unfortunately downhill sloping halo series, which is my favourite thing in the world, Halo 2... The campaign was absoloutly amazing!!! Halo 3, Campaign was no where near as good as the other 2 and it was based more on the multiplayer..

I just hope the CE remake doesn't ruin what's in the original. Personally I feel the first 2 were the best because it was something new and original. ODST was more of an add-on than it's own game, and Reach was cool, but the Elites moved too much and the Marines were really downgraded in intelligence. But I loved all the Halos, even Wars. Just some were better than others. As for the remake, I'm excited to see the Flood in a new look.

The only thing that I'm somewhat concerned about is armor abilities and whether or not the warthog/scorpion will be indestructible or not.

The AI was not superb; Marines couldn't even drive. Enemies would ignore the player beyond a certain range. The graphics were also not the best back then. Someday Halo will be remade as a fully immersive, omnisensorial, photorealistic simulation. Halo is a masterpiece, but a ten year old masterpiece with many flaws.

No, I mean, sure, there were flaws, but you can't learn or improve something without making any mistakes. Halo 1 multiplayer (XBC and LAN) was broken as fuck. This is better than what I expected. 3sk pistol with a rate of fire is where it's at, unlike CE.

Your terribly ignorant comment makes me think you're in the age range of 13 - 15 and never played Halo CE on XBC (or even know what it is) or at a LAN party.
CEA's multplayer might be in the Reach engine but it doesn't play like Reach. At all, period. It doesn't play exactly like CE either, but takes lots of apsects from that and Halo 3.
I'm not a Reach fag, I'm a Halo fan. You're a faggot. Not a Reach fag, just an indenial faggot who thinks it's cool to bash on Reach.

@leojaay Kid, I played Halo CE multiplayer over Xbox Connect and Xbox Kai. Play some BTB, it plays exactly like Reach. I'll give it some credit however, I do like the 4v4 gametype where you start with pistols. Learn your facts, child.

@phoenixbrown108 Technically, you're sort of right. It only had LAN capabilities. With the use of Xbox Connect or Xbox Kai, you can play any Xbox or 360 game that has any form of multiplayer online.

@Caliente1593 Graphics were unique and the best back then and the AI was superb for both the enemies and Allies. It doesn't need updating, but I understand where you're coming from and I would still buy the remake if were ever made.

@3434343434utubeguy Yes it does need updating. Just like FF7 and other classics need updating. The number of games which don't need updating is zero. The AI was not superb; Marines couldn't even drive. Enemies would ignore the player beyond a certain range. The graphics were also not the best back then. Someday Halo will be remade as a fully immersive, omnisensorial, photorealistic simulation. Halo is a masterpiece, but a ten year old masterpiece with many flaws.

@Aphradonis yeah, you're right, CE had so many flaws in it, nothing compared to other FPS back then like PacMan XD! No, I mean, sure, there were flaws, but you can't learn or improve something without making any mistakes. Halo was Bungies first FPS with adanced 3 dimensional graphics, and you have to admit: there wasn't that many popular games back in 2001. the FPS genre needed a game with a big enough fan base to survive the video game market.

@Caliente1593 From what I understand, with the new CE you can actually go to the options and change it back and forth from the Original graphics to the updated graphics, that way you can play either at your will in one game :)
