i dont mean to take away from the magnificance of this cover, but it just seemed a bit mechanical to me...as if you had to hit each note with a certain amount of force....nd was amazing at it. but i think a couple times u hit some notes a little harder than nd does it. i only say this because i presume u are attempting to mimic his style. u are definitely close though. definitely better than i could do it. just wanted to offer some constructive critisism. keep it up :)

Not sure if you mean the right hand pinky or the left...I wouldn't say the fretting hand pinky is absolutely essential but certainly more comfortable,for me anyway...I don't use the pinky on my picking hand for this,although it might seem that way because it's often flailing around

Excellent. I played this ten years ago, just as accurately, in a completely different way. Based around a G seven chord if i remember right (bog standard tuning). Still managing to get that double root in. Sounds like its one open and one fretted, although i can't think how i did it now as i stopped playing at the same time. His most evocotive song for me.
