I know that many people will be pissed about this, but GNR and U2 together are a big NO NO. In the early nineties , when U2 fans became interested in GNR is when GNR stopped being cool. In spite of what many people can think GNR were a Hard rock act, and they were funny with Motley Crue, Vain, Ac/Dc, Rose Tatto, Skid Row, etc etc.

No disrespect to U2 fans, but i dont think that U2 are a hard rock band, they are more similar to Simple Minds, notwithstanding their sound changes
