Judasim is a religion fool not a race like blacks and white and asians. Otherwise there will be hindu-american, seikh american, muslims american and JEWISH american. I dont see why if the jews get to be called jewish americans then the other faiths would be calling to be called by their faiths followed by american. Plus all this diversity would make the US disunited and the real racism would kick in.

islam technically isnt a race either, there's more than just arab muslims. It's considered a race because both islam and judaism are more than a religion, there's jewish food, jewish music, hebrew which is pretty much the jewish language, and laws for all parts of life.
