There's two things you could try:

-Progress through the story and go to the next dojo -- there are three of them: one in Shinshu Plains, one in Ryoshima Coast and one in Kamui.

-Check if you have the right amount of money, then exit + re-enter the store

I'm using a device called "Gamebridge". I hear the company who made it is out of business, but you might still be able to purchase it on E-Bay and other sites of that variety. After recording it with Gamebridge, I use a free program called VideoSpin (from Pinnacle) to edit/customize the format of the video (I'm using MPEG-4, I think).

-All of the brush gods call Ammy "Mother"

-Amaterasu is female in Shinto mythology

-Yatsu, the man in the Gale Shrine calls Ammy a maiden/female

And there are also cases where Ammy is suggested to be male, such as:

-"Attracted" to women

-Golden Fury technique

-Tobi's remarks ("Good Sir")

Go to the dojo in Ryoshima Coast and Onigiri Sensei will tech you the technique: Holy Eagle that lets you use double jump.

The actual video which you can use for reference is Pt. 60, 6:09 (Just to show you a bit before the actual place so you can see where it is :3).

Go out the "back door" of Rao's house, go across the bridge infront of you, turn right, go straight a bit, then turn right and keep running for a short short while, and on your left you should see green fog coming out of a portal. Go in that portal, and on the right hand side (at the back, near the wall) you should find the prayer slips.

I tried. The problem I visited the Moon Turret when I first go to the coast (before meeting Rao) so it goes immediately to "What's the strange pattern on the bottom of the sea" and now it won't let me look up at the sky while on the turret like you did at 4:39.

omg i had the exact same problem... BUT i just got it.... what you do is... go back to a save before rao... now this is important.... dont learn the double jump till AFTER you've run to the turret.... it will tell you to go learn it, so go learn it, now jump up... and move ammy as far back away from the sea as possible, you will kinda half fall off the edge.... now adjust view with L1and the camera shud point towards the sky.... paint your moon and voila! you can move on... hope it works!! gluck
