When was this documentary? Post 1995? This is a ZCorp machine. Did they invent this before ZCorp? I'm confused, is this guy selling the machines or the matrix structure honeycomb he has or the software that makes it???? What the hell is artificial intellegent software? They never covered that until the bring it up in the end. Looks like it was produced by 3D software, nothing AI about that. If I had to guess I'd say the guy is just selling ZCORP machines in the UK.

It isn't a zcorp machine it is a selective laser sintering machine. The guy is selling the concept of meta materials. Personally I think his little demo is not a material but a structure. Most springs are springy one way and not the other, it is not rocket science. The AI comment at the end just shows the typical scientific and engineering ignorance in the media.
