like ya comment on what studio program you use I use all that is in windows no mac but I use Sonar more thats my pref ya digg but all do the same thang just about. keep doing ya thang fam luv ya work
@styles355 yea you would just have to bounce them to disk, and then import them into any sampler of your choice. just make sure that you chop them up right.
@LoshinProductions, I bet it does, I should have done this all long time ago. I just loaded it full of sounds and samples, and now just need a good converter (I'm thinking Rosetta 200) to compliment my Waves plug-ins for the best sound possible.
i have pro tools m-powered essential 8.02 by m-audio its hard to use but i was wondering if you can make a tutorial video to help me and other people who are in need of a good teacher as your self and what i use is a program called mix-craft do you think thats a good program to use or you think i should leave that program alone and move on to pro tools?
Download them ALL from torrents or rapidshare and than decide. Don't spend money on things you don't have to. You can't download a mic or guitar but you can ProTools and save 500$.
My PC running XP with Firewire 003 is wayyyyy less stable than my Mac running a USB fast track pro. I think in general Pro tools is less stable than most DAW's especially when using VI's. It sucks but you got to work with what you have. I chose the PT route, I wish I would have went Cubase instead.
@AlexPittEdu PT isn't really meant for Windows. It's Windows compatible, but it only supports 32-bit OS and the highest OS you can upgrade to is Vista. Vista is not really stable so expecting to run a 003 on a XP or Vista build is the wrong way to go. Pro Tools uses RTAS (Real Time Audio Suite) plug-ins so when it comes to VST's, you use a VST to RTAS Wrapper. Pro Tools is a CPU hog, but it's very powerful once you've studied it, messed with it, and learned it mostly to fully.
Just wanted to chime in... I agree with Mr. 21... You gotta study your craft. If you are just a home studio starting out, I started out in Cakewalk which is now Sonar. Get your checkbook out.. Here is my current setup so you can skip the headache if you are starting out. Reasons (creating beats), ProTools Le mbox (laying vocals and mixing), T-Racks (mastering), GT 55 condenser mic, KRK Rockit (monitors), Behringer 6 headphone amp, Sony MDR 7506 (headphones). Best wishes.
Logic is superb out of the box, but Protools HD is still king for a reason. There is no other DAW out there that has the ability to completely integrate software with hardware specifications. It is just to expensive for the home studio novice when it comes to adding TDM plugins. In the end, you can get the same result, it just matters how much you are willing to studio your choice.
yea man i use FL studio 9 XXL producer edition and ive progress pretty fast, ive tried to use reason but yo reason is somewhat hard, the only thing i learned so far on there is reddrum, people say pro tools is pretty good, so i want to know is Fruity loops and pro tools pretty good to use together?
I think that FL Studio is the best program for starting out. Reason is only for making beats, unless you by Record. and Pro Tools is a great program but a lot more complex. But if you get FL Studio and learn the basics of audio and creating a beat and recording then you can use the other programs with no problem.
I suggest you get the FL Studio 30 day demo. That will help you get the idea of a DAW sequencing software. I learned alot from watching tutorials and producers on YouTube before I started. I use Cubase 5.
I own, reason, FL, ableton live. I've used logic and know many producers who use all other types, some don't even use any digital DAW's they're strictly hardware. One thing I learned is a good producer can use anything and make music sound good! Its true what this man says, use what you are comfortable with.
Cubase is a great program. You can get a lot of free VST's for it and Plug-Ins. Cubase is the runner up next to Pro Tools and for a home recording studio its one of the best options. You should get Cubase 5 though thats the most up to date program. Another great program that you should consider is Sonar Producer 8. I dont know what your budget is but you should look into it. Good Luck
damn i dont know how format my drive i wouldnt know how to do that i installed the pro tools and shit but before i launch it it gives me a warning about me having high ntfs volumes that it could corrupt my plugins ..thnks for getten back at me dog
