Thank God. Something that might help. I'm playing kingdom hearts while I can't lock on to targets and can't flip through the action-menu thingy X'D. A huge handicap. But I can't blow it. I start laughing X'D. It feels like sexually harassing my nintendo ds X'D.

This will work for a while, but it's not really reliable. Theoretically in time it will only worsen the condition of the button. I used this method a long time ago and it gradually wore down my already-doomed L button.

I just got a new DS because I was tired of putting up with it.

When i did it my ds completly rebooted and it wont stay on. The light turns on for less then a sec. and then just shuts down. "~"

That's exactly what happened to my old one.

More than likely the hinge is broken. If that's the case, tilt it an angle so the left hinge of the DS (the part where all the cords are) is "squeezing" the cords. While you're doing that, turn it on.

You have to keep it like that for it to stay on, though, so it's best to just get a new DS.

thank you sooo much man. when you said that you reminded me of the classic Nintendo cartridge blow trick. where you like blow on the NES or SNES cartridge slots and then put it in and hope it works. well thanks for the helpful info. this vid is faved and is goin on my fav list.

No, blow into the cracks of the shoulder buttons. It seems to work for a lot of people.

another way is this: the reson its now working is cuz its jamd. so..1 turn the ds over to the back. 2 bush the SIDE pars of the l or r button.3 if that does not work push the side part again but the lower side
