We traded "song for song" (I would listen to his as long as he listened to mine) so hopefully he liked some of my stuff from the 90's (which he did)

@atlasshrugged2u Theirs accurate studies with children/teens with metal music and how it effects them. and from what i understood music controls and contains emotions its a type of protection. if it wasn't for bands like this that have the screaming and banging existing i wouldn't have so much control in my life i know that. i am 20 now and i know if or when i have kids id rather them listen to metal music and dark bands then instead be out doing drugs or getting into trouble hope that helps :D

@atlasshrugged2u well you can go to there band websites and look them up. most of them i approve of august burns red is my favorite band there lyrics are so great just look up the song "composure" by them and listen to it while you read along the lyrics. system of a down is a type of band that i grew up with in the family they have no real meaning to there songs as Serj Tankian tells people on his site. he prefers that the listener create his or her own meaning of the song. hope that helps
