  • Does Kuuipo (white girl~23 or 24) still dance with this group?

  • this is not hula , it is tahitian

  • @oOHulaGirlOo Yes you are right - in the video description, I wrote "This is the Tahitian show. Several Polynesian dances are in this show - I just use the word 'hula' because that is the word most associated with these dances." You reveal a real dilemma for me - select a title that will result in few viewers finding the video, or select a title that will result in more viewers watching this wonderful dance group. I chose the latter.

  • tothink i was in maui yesterday.. I should have went to go see one of these!

  • i used to dance with this group. te tiare patitifa. ha, the reason why it seems better than a luau is because the practices are wayyyy more hardcore than a luau's. if you listen at 0:56 he says "minoaka" which means to smile. haha! keoni, he's really strict. and we only had one kane. ahh.. i like the way you edited this.. makes us look realy good ! hahaha :)

  • the editing may have helped, but you looked really good because you are really good!

  • This looks better than the luau I went to. Plus I can go shopping if I get bored with all the dancing and drums.

  • Now this group has a Luau. Go check it out. Its the Maui Polynesian Luau, the dancers are from Te Tiare Patitifa.

  • Is their new show at the Aston Maui Lu in south Maui?

  • Yes :)
