It will be always and forever a very special mix of emotions for me when I think of Kel: The great sadness about losing him, being accompanied by the love I felt for him and those memories of happy things we shared. And although the sadness will always be the gravest part of that mix, I would never try to block it out and shut it down. Because this would mean to start forgetting what Kel meant to me ... and I could never do that, ever.
I knew I wanted t make a video for Kel's birthday, but I could not think of anything at first ...
But then, yesterday evening, I realized that I I simply and only wanted (and needed!) to do one thing: To speak out what was in my heart, and what I so much would want to say to Kel himself today. And so, I did exactly that.
These moments of reflection have become a part of my life that is of utmost importance. I would not have made it, if had tried to shut out all that happened.
Thinking things through, thinking of Kel, will always include the sad parts, and the tragedy that ended it all. But it also includes remembering all the wonderful and happy moments we had with each other. And as the pain gradually subsides, the happy memories stay strong, and comfort me.
im not one that gets tears but every time i hear about kelvin i get teary eyed so sorry i didnt know him but some ppl i talk to knew kel from what thay told me and from that i know you must have been a wonderful young man and great friend to every one you ment and for som reason every time i watch your vids it remineds me of my best friend he`s not dead but i love him so much and want to spend as much time with him as posable becouse we never know what tomorrow will bring
Chad, Kel was a wonderful person, yes - and all the same, he was just a boy. Still, every human being is a miracle, and you will come to see this and feel this, if you manage to connect to another person. This requires being open, it requires trust, and honesty. And if you get to know someone on this basis, you will always encounter this miracle, and may find friendship, and love.
Even if life is hard on you, there is always hope. Kel had it so hard, but he never gave up; he never lost hope.
