I wasn't at this one but I saw the gig in hartford, CT and there was some of the same. They cut out all of "Wrathchild", the opener, but just the stage monitors. the band was playing like nothing's wrong. The only way Bruce found out was watching the crowd reaction. Now to be fair, this whole thing started when Bruce made a couple quick remarks concerning Ozzy's ability as a performer at the time. But we all can agree Sharon's reaction was way over the top and unwarranted. What a cunt....

I was so extremely pissed when news of this came out the day after, but I must say... Maiden put on a hell of a show (as usual) through adversity. This is probably up their with their Rio shows as far as how amazing they performed. The way the power cuts and it comes back up with them EXACTLY on cue is amazing. And it all ended with Sharon getting pelted with beers from the audience and people leaving before Ozzy in protest. I would pay for this on DVD.

Bruce has often publicly expressed his displeasure of performing in the U.S. and his love for South America . I don't live in U.S. or Brazil, but I have seen Iron Maiden 65 times in 4 continents. Out of those shows, most were in the U.S., and unfortunately, American audiences were the most quiet ones. Go see Iron Maiden in Sao Paulo, you'll have a blast!
