I would want this book, then, because I can use the tips inside of it for a look at Mark's witnessing style. And he's actually quite funny. There's nothing like a dose of practical humor when you are reaching the lost. It kind of breaks up the monotony of trying to turn the focus to the things of God, His creation, and His whole plan. We, the redeemed in Christ, are charged with a great Commission and we'll be held accountable.

I love the guy and his 'heart beat' book but I don't get the tithe in the church. It was never tought in the church by apostles. Jesus never said to do it in his church. There are only 2 references in N.T. and have nothing to do with collecting money!It was never money, it was always the fruit of the field, wasn't paid by soldiers, carpenters, labourers, taxi drivers etc. ;-) was only paid by land owners. I believe tithe is a scam... if so important why no apostole mention it?

Preaching the gospel is wonderful and we should all do it, but most of the Christians I know don't know who Jesus is. They go off to Bible College with good intentions and then come back preaching John Calvin and debating and theologizing the Bible. We all must know Jesus Christ first and meet Him in the wilderness and only move when He says to move and camp when He says to camp, otherwise we will be doing the wrong thing at the wrong time.

We could go after evolution, abortion, politics and so on....but arguing for these things will never win souls for Christ.
