so my school's jazz band is working on Sesame Street and i decided to google it and i found this video and i want to say AMAZING job!!! i wish i could play like this!! and i know you're probally tired of hearing this but do you think you could send me the sheet music for it? thanks :)

hey how do you do that thing at 0:16 ? The part were you slide your fingers down, Is there a special technqiue to it or what?

Well, if you are practicing, use your fingernails to do the glissando so it doesnt hurt your fingers practicing over and over haha.

In a performance, I usually try to make it as showy as possible by using my plain fingers to do it.

I mostly use my pointer finger to slide down the piano, and make my other fingers give power to the pointer.

I finished Canon in D by Pachebel arranged by George Winston and Rootbeer Rag by Billy Joel. Then, I will be playing these soon in a preformance: Old Fasion, Tiny Dancer by Elton John, Only Hope piano with a singer, and Toccata. Later, i'll be working on Polonaise Militaire, finding a Jazz song in this other book, and, maybe this other song i think by Bach who's song name I can't remember or see on my paper xD.

Awe, Thank you :). Well, I got it from my japanese piano teacher so, its in japanese BUT, there are some things in english but, the arranger is whited out... I have no idea why it is. I'll check back to you by message if I find who the arranger is =D.

You should definitely take the time, musical training helps language processing a lot. I don't know if I'm some sort of a proof, whatever, at least I'm pretty sure it's been documented.. But you know, there are lots of great things about playing an instrument, for me it's also very relaxing to play the piano.
