I think we can all agree, this film was an enjoyable bloody-action-medieval-adventu­re, but the accuracy in historical events and the original folklore was utter bollocks! For one thing Guy of Gisborne isn't even in there and the Sheriff of Nottingham is a pussy. But I digress... who watches something like this for the clarity of a well crafted remake of a much loved English tale of morality and love for man (well... I did first time round) and not to see some random French guys getting killed!

I thought that this Robinhood would be an erstatz 'Prince of Theives', but it was totally original, and more of a prequel rather than a replacement.

An excellent screen play over all, the only thing that was a bit off was the dodgy accents... could the budget not stretch to hiring actual English and Welshmen?

The guy who taught it was this 22-year-old fresh out of college with a bachelor's degree in chemical physics. Because he is only 5 years older than me (this was nearly 11 years ago)- I later got to know him and we became friends.

He was a single man back then, so he and I were always hanging out together that following summer after I graduated high school. He got married to a girlfriend he knew from college in late 2002 (I attended the wedding). Now they have two daughters- one is 7 and the other one is 4. Things for people sure do change.

I am now a decade older than people who just got out of high school- which means they would have been little kids when I first went to college. People who would have been only 10 or 11 back then now are living in their own apartment and have kids of their own (although they are not married). People who got out of high school a year after I got out of college are now married.

So far, I have not had one call for an interview and I have even gone to unemployment agencies seeing what they could do to help me out. Some drummer by the name of Tom Grosset remixed this soundtrack by making a drum cover out of it. It actually sounds better than the original soundtrack here. Just put in "tom grosset robin hood remix". It's pretty damn goood!
