I have to say that I've heard worse stories of malaria by other obrunis, so I'd be careful for the advice you give...you might have had a weak strain, cause I know people who were hospitalized for five days straight...I do, however, agree that you don't need to be afraid of malaria, so long as you are careful and when you get sick, pay attention to the symptoms, don't EVER ignore them and you will live to tell the tale!
@FernyBuckets I got malaria or had a relapse twice after making this video. The 2nd time I got it I ignored the symptoms longer and it was much much much worse. Let's just say I lost a LOT of fluids. I caught it early the 3rd time and it was much like the 1st. One friend had a pretty bad fever and didn't clue in so he took a Tylenol to reduce his fever. Bad decision! Massive fluid loss!
LESSON: deal with it early, carry treatment with you and you'll be fine. Sleep, exercise, ... helps too.
