Oddly enough, this 2:03 video took me about 7 minutes to watch, due to weird sluggishness on youtube today. SO, while the viewers may have watched 470 years of Charlie, it may have taken them around 500 years to load the pages, if you figure in average wait time for sluggishness. ;)

The chance that 100% of viewers watched 100% of all his videos is very unlikely.

However you could assume that 25% of viewers watched 1 minute, 25% 2 minutes, 25% 3 minutes and 25% 4 minutes. If you put these figures in to a 4 minute video with 100,000 views you get a total of 250,000 viewer minutes. This is far lower than your assumption that would result in a total of 400,000.

Therefore, your calculation may be totally off.

Also if you watch the videos on a Youtube account, the amount of views won't change if you were to watch the video over and over and over again. Adam's calculations are correct to an extent, but its fine

The reason there will be more comments and likes than views is because youtubes view counter is screwed up. It often stops at about 308 views for a few hours even if there's been tens of thousands of views.

Even after that initial stage, the counter is often off by quite a bit. (For very popular videos, that is)
