Too bad I can't seem to find a remastered version of this like I can find of Toonami commercials. Because this in HD would so rock, even more than it already does.
This game was great. It forces the player to think tactically, which very few other gundam games do. There are some serious shortcomings with the mobile suit controls, but that's usually the trade off in tactical games, loss of individual control for entire unit control. I've heard rave reviews about SS of Gundam 0079 RFTA, but I've not played it. So I dare say that Zeonic Front is the best gundam game with an American release.
Anyone post Lt. Commander Schmitzer's inspiring tale of the ZWI? I remember loving it on the game, but haven't found it on youtube yet. Maybe I'll post it if i can...does anyone know a good way to take things from televisions and put them on computer?

This GAME made helped spark a flame in me for the Zeon.The end when defeat is declared although i knew that would happen i felt sad.I wanted to continue fighting.haha it captured the basic Zeon soldier side really well.The loyalty ,reason for fighting making Zeon look bad ass.
That intro is the best video game intro for a Gundam Game I have ever seen. It was cool playing in that style, I hope more Gundam games can execute that style perfectly on the 360 and stuff.

yea, I been latley playing it, mostly as the Federation on Simulator mode. I like both Federation and Zeon. Not quiet sure what I like more tho :\ yet... favorite Federation is Guncannon, Favorite Zeon is Kampfer, which is not on Zeonic Front.
I love how beam weapons actually shoot THROUGH buildings and objects in the game. Man my Dom Tropen team with the beam cannons sure got a work out. Heck, all my Dom teams were used heavily, I could never seem to do well with the Gouf on the later runs through the game.
Ahhh brings back good memories! I've spent maybe more than 50 hours on this game, espeically since I had to retry mission 4 and beyond like +10 times. Took me forever to pass the whitebase level (I set 3 routes, since the WB is in the top right corner, just go left, center, and right). Personally I think they should have more gundam games like this, where it involves more strategy, not just endless endless fighting and killing with no real mission other than to destroy enemy MS

This video shows how great the Zeon Mobile Suits are. And if you're going to judge all Gundam series off of seed, you're not a real fan of Gundam. The MS-09 has taken many forms, but the most common are the MS-09bts test models. The Black Tri-Star I'm a MAJOR zeon fan. I like their ideals. The Rick Doms have existed since Gundam 0079. They are just normal mobile suits. Nothing like the overly glamourized one in that dispicable SEED Destiny.

I can't say I really like Gundam SEED... I was never able to get into it. I much prefer the different series' set in the Universal Century timeline.
By the way, those Doms in the video aren't Rick-Doms. Just regular MS-09 Doms. Rick-Doms are space use, while Doms are ground use.
